Essentials oils. Have you ever wondered what all the hoopla is about? When I was in my teens, I would buy them and experiment with mixing them. At the time, I didn't realize that some of the oils I was buying were fragrance oils.
Fragrance oils are not the same as essential oils and are not completely natural. I didn't love some of the scents and stopped after a while...until a few years ago. I was pregnant and saw an ad offering essential oils education at my midwifery clinic (I don't own one, I was seeing a midwife). I quickly grabbed the info from the clinic and attended a 1-on-1 session. I loved what I learned and it propelled me into a lifestyle change that i will never regret!
I first started using Doterra lemon essential oils to clean surfaces. Then drink a couple drops with my glass of water. Then I started to use OnGuard (a blend of cloves, eucalyptus, cassia and wild orange) to help battle colds. I'd have my children take it orally with water before and after school. The result? less colds, and when they did actually get the cold, it would go away in less time. Right now, I don't see myself living without essential oils. I'm constantly finding new and helpful ways to use them and I feel like bursting sometimes because I want everyone to know their benefits too lol. If you're reading this, I guess I'm starting with you today :o). I'll be posting some more great ways the essential oils can be used soon (ie. cough remedies, diy recipes).
Peace, Love, and encouragement!
