Fridays can be the most exciting day of the week for some. But after signing off and closing up shop for the day or for the full weekend, Friday can soon turn into a night that only features Netflix & cheap fast food.

While there's nothing wrong with the above, there can be some DIY added to the equation to help make the night more relaxing & more rewarding (because you went the extra mile for yourself).

Simple Massage Oil

Supplies:

*1 small to med sized

stainless steel bowl

*1 spatula

*measuring cup

*squeeze bottle

Ingredients:

1/4 cup olive oil

(or coconut oil, grapeseed oil, or sweet almond oil)

1 chamomile tea bag

Instructions:

1.Place the stainless steel bowl in a pot filled with about 2 cups of water.

*Gently warm the olive oil in the bowl. The water in the pan needs to be warm enough to slightly boil & warm the oil. Be careful not to heat the oil too much, or you'll have to wait a little while to use it.

2. Place tea bag in the bowl & allow to steep for about 5 mins

3. Removed the oil from the heat after 5 mins of steeping and remove the tea bag (remember to squeeze out the oil it has absorbed, back into the bowl)

4. Place oil into squeeze bottle after it has reached a suitable temperature (warm to touch)

5. After a warm shower, squeeze a quarter sized amount of the oil into the palm of your hands. Rub the massage oil all over, focusing on joints & your feet. Chamomile has calming anti-inflammatory properties that can help you wind down after a long day and relax muscles

Enjoy!
